Bank of Ireland supports €550m debt refinancing for homebuilder Glenveagh

15 May 2026: Bank of Ireland today confirmed its participation as a lender in Glenveagh Properties plc’s €550 million debt facility refinancing, alongside AIB, Barclays, Home Building Finance Ireland (HBFI), ING and MetLife Investment Management.

The expanded facilities, increased from €450 million to €550 million, will significantly enhance Glenveagh’s available funding, supporting the activation of its 19,000-unit landbank and the annual delivery of 2,750 to 3,600 units through to 2030.

Kevin Baxter, Head of Property Finance, Bank of Ireland, said:
