Bank of Ireland officially opens Tralee hybrid working hub

9 September 2026: Bank of Ireland has officially opened a new hybrid-working hub in Tralee, further expanding its flexible working network. The hub was officially opened by Norma Foley, T.D, Minister for Children, Disability, Equality.

Located above the Bank’s Castle Street branch, the new facility brings the total number of hybrid-working locations to 20. Depending on their role, most Bank of Ireland colleagues can work from a combination of home, 12 office locations, and the Bank’s hybrid hubs.

Over the past 12 months, the bank has opened five new hubs in Letterkenny, Tralee, Tullamore, Wexford and Sligo.

Susan Russell, CEO, Retail Ireland, Bank of Ireland said: “We are delighted to mark the official opening of our newest Hybrid Working Hub, alongside Norma Foley TD, Minister for Children, Disability and Equality and colleagues from across the region. Tralee is our fifth new hub to open in the past year bringing our network to 20 locations across the country, giving our colleagues greater choice and flexibility in where they work, helping them to stay connected to their teams while working closer to home.”

The expanded hub network includes hubs in Letterkenny, Tralee, Tullamore, Wexford Balbriggan, College Green, Cork, Dundalk, Galway, Gorey, Limerick, Mullingar, Naas, Newbridge, Newlands Cross, Northern Cross, Omagh, Santry, Sligo, Swords, and the upcoming additions in Letterkenny, Tralee, Tullamore and Wexford.
