Bank of Ireland named Euromoney’s Best Bank in Ireland

17 July 2026: Bank of Ireland has been named Ireland’s Best Bank in the Euromoney Awards for Excellence 2026, winning the prestigious award for the second time in three years.

For more than 30 years, the Euromoney Awards for Excellence have recognised performance, innovation and client impact in banking, attracting entries from financial institutions across more than 100 countries and territories each year.

Euromoney’s assessment considered a broad range of criteria including strategy execution, investment in products, services and people, as well as digitalisation, sustainability initiatives and the use of artificial intelligence. It also incorporated financial and business metrics, including lending, deposits, revenue, costs, and customer numbers.
