Bank of Ireland appoints June Butler as Head of Corporate and SME Banking
4 September 2025 – Bank of Ireland is pleased to announce the appointment of June Butler as Head of Corporate and SME Banking.
June is currently Chief Executive Officer at the Strategic Banking Corporation of Ireland (SBCI), where she led the organisation in delivering innovative funding solutions to Irish SMEs. She brings extensive experience in financial services, strategic leadership, and stakeholder engagement across both public and private sectors. June previously served as Head of SME Banking and Sectors at Bank of Ireland until 2021.
In her new role, June will lead a team of 200 colleagues serving the needs of 3,000 companies across the island of Ireland. She will oversee relationships with private businesses, multinationals, and publicly quoted companies, as well as leading our Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) team.
