Bank of Ireland has announced details of its new ‘Treasury Academy’ in partnership with Trinity Business School, running a series of workshops that will equip businesses in developing their understanding of treasury risks and solutions.

 

Bank of Ireland has announced details of a new ‘Treasury Academy’ in partnership with Trinity Business School. The Treasury Academy is aimed at equipping businesses to develop their understanding of treasury risks and solutions. A series of workshops will feature interactive sessions for individuals who want to develop their understanding of treasury strategies and risk management.

The Treasury Academy is a key component of Bank of Ireland’s Financial Wellbeing Programme for businesses, and a part of Trinity Business School executive education offering. The programme will be co-delivered by senior members of the Bank of Ireland Global Markets team and Trinity Business School professors practice professionals. Attendees will cover a range of topics including: Economics & Markets Outlook, Treasury Policy and FX Hedging Strategies, Foreign Exchange Risk Management, Interest Rate Risk Management, Treasury Accounting, and Debt Financing. All participants will receive a certificate in Executive Development from Trinity Business School upon completion of the day-long course.

Announcing the Bank of Ireland/Trinity Business School Treasury Academy series, Sean Crowe, CEO Markets and Treasury at Bank of Ireland commented: “The management of financial risks is of critical importance for any company with exposures to the financial markets. Risks can arise across a number of areas including Foreign Exchange, Interest Rate Risk Management, Inflation and Debt Financing. To help our customers navigate these risks, we have co-developed the Bank of Ireland Treasury Academy with the Trinity Business School. Participants will enhance their understanding of treasury products and risk management solutions and contribute positively to the financial wellbeing of their business. The next event in the series takes place on June 11th at Bank of Ireland Burlington Plaza in Dublin, with further events later in the year to take place in the new Business School building at Trinity College Dublin.
