Michael Bloomberg visits Bank of Ireland Global Markets

Today Bank of Ireland Global Markets welcomed Michael R. Bloomberg, philanthropist, former New York City Mayor, and founder of Bloomberg LP to its Dublin offices. During the visit Michael toured the Global Markets office, the largest dealing room in Ireland, and met with Francesca McDonagh, Group CEO and Sean Crowe, CEO Markets and Treasury, Bank of Ireland.

Part of the Group’s Markets and Treasury business, over 175 people are based in the Dublin dealing room and cover a range of activity including; transacting in a range of market instruments on behalf of both Bank of Ireland Group and customers. These include both business, mainly SMEs, and personal customers who require foreign exchange needs delivered through a variety of online channels.
