‘Agriculture in mid Cork 2012 and beyond’ Bank of Ireland and Teagasc host Agri Seminar in Macroom
Bank of Ireland and Teagasc have joined forces to host an agri seminar in the Castle Hotel in Macroom, Co. Cork on Monday 23 April at 8 p.m..
The evening will focus on the future of agriculture in Ireland and specifically in the Cork region. One of the topics which will be discussed on the night is ‘improved production and financial rewards through better grassland management’, while the relevance of business planning when considering farm expansion will also be explored.
Guest speakers at the seminar will be Mr. Simon Coveney T.D., Minister for Agriculture, Dr. Padraig French, Head of Dairy Production Research Department at Teagasc and Sean Farrell, Head of Agriculture, Bank of Ireland Business Banking.
This event provides an opportunity to get an update from Minister Coveney on the latest National and European political developments relevant to the agricultural sector, to receive free financial and business advice and to learn about Bank of Ireland’s commitment to providing funding to Irish farmers and agri-businesses.
