The Governor and Company of the Bank of Ireland Sale of Bank of Ireland Securities Services
Bank of Ireland announces the sale of Bank of Ireland Securities Services (“BoISS”) to Northern Trust Corporation for total cash consideration of up to €60 million subject to certain conditions. The transaction is conditional, inter alia, upon the receipt of certain regulatory clearances and is expected to close in the coming months. The sale is expected to generate equity tier 1 capital of c. €40 million for the Bank.
