Bank of Ireland establishes new Technology and Telecoms team in London

Bank of Ireland Corporate Banking today (10 January 2008) announced the creation of a technology and telecoms team to complement its existing media finance business with the full TMT capability. The team will be based in London and will have an international remit.

The Bank has recruited Graham Dodd, formerly of Lloyds TSB and Sonya Iovieno from Allied Irish Bank, both of whom have extensive experience in this sector. They have joined the 25-strong team, which is based between its London, Los Angeles and New York offices.

Commenting Tom Hayes, Chief Executive, Bank of Ireland Corporate Banking said: “I am please to add to our existing media team with the creation of a new specialised finance team in the technology and telecoms sector. This development reinforces our objective of growing our niche, skills-based businesses internationally. The expansion of our London team brings together the expertise and experience to place us in a leading position to take on challenges in the specialist TMT markets.”
