Why was the direct debit for my credit card not taken?  

A direct debit may fail to process if:

  • The account it is debiting has insufficient cleared funds
  • The payment date is a non-working day – payment will process normally on the next working day

To avoid any additional charges make sure you have enough funds available in your Current Account on the date when the direct debit is due/executed.
