As soon as you believe your card has been lost or stolen, please get in touch. We'll cancel your card as soon as you tell us it's missing and get a new card issued to your address (the one we have on file for you) in 5 to 7 working days.
Please let us know immediately if you discover your card is lost or stolen. Otherwise, you could be liable for any losses up to the time you report the loss to us.
Smart DeviceYou should report any lost or stolen smart device to Bank of Ireland when:
- You use the smart device as security device for online banking - Any smartphone or tablet you have installed the upgraded Bank of Ireland App on and completed registration of that device. Not sure which app you have? Click here
- You use the smart device for as a digital wallet - Any smart device on which you have added your Bank of Ireland debit or credit card using Google Pay (android devices) or Apple Pay (iOS devices).
