What is the Deposit Notice and Withdrawal service?

Both the Bank of Ireland App and 365 online offer you the convenience and flexibility of making a withdrawal or notice request without the need to go into your branch.

If your Demand Deposit or Notice Deposit account is eligible for this service (see list below), you can make this request on the Bank of Ireland App or 365 online. The money will be transferred directly to your current account.

Please note

  • This service is available to Republic of Ireland customers only.
  • Term Deposit accounts are not eligible for this service.

  1. Log in to 365 online.
  2. Tap 'Withdraw funds' next to the eligible product.
  3. Complete the withdrawal details.
  4. Enter the 3 requested digits of your 6-digit 365 PIN.

Notice period required for Notice Deposit accounts:

Demand accounts
Variable Rate Call account None - you can withdraw your money on demand
Childsave None - you can withdraw your money on demand
Notice Accounts
365 31 Day Notice 31 calendar days
31-Day Set Notice Account 31 calendar days
60-Day Set Notice Account 60 calendar days
90-Day Set Notice Account 90 calendar days

*In normal circumstances, a 7 day notice period is required before you can withdraw your money. This requirement is being waived until further notice.

This service is not available on the Mobile Banking app. It is only available on the new Bank of Ireland App. and 365 online.

  1. Log in to your account on the Bank of Ireland App.
  2. Tap 'Accounts' on the bottom menu.
  3. Select 'Withdraw Funds' next to eligible account.
  4. Complete the withdrawal details.
  5. Enter the 3 requested digits of your 6-digit 365 PIN.
  6. Swipe to approve.
