When you send money internationally online (e.g. 365 online or Bank of Ireland App) the time it takes to reach the payee’s bank will depend upon when you make the request and payee’s country and currency. See full details for your jurisdiction below
Payments from Republic of Ireland
Online International payments requested before 2.30pm Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays, will be processed on the day they’re received and will reach payee’s bank within the timeframes indicated below. For example a GBP payment for an account in the UK, requested using the Bank of Ireland App at 1pm on Tuesday, will appear in the payee’s bank on Wednesday (day of request +1).
Payments requested after 2.30pm will be processed on the next working day.

Payments from Northern Ireland / Great Britain
Online payment requests to send money outside the UK which are received before 4.30pm Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays, will be processed on the day they’re received and will reach payee’s bank within the timeframes indicated below. For example a USD payment using the Bank of Ireland App for an account in the United States, requested at 1pm on Tuesday, will appear in the payee’s bank on Wednesday (day of request +1).
Payments requested after 4.30pm will be processed on the next working day.
