Payee description - explained
A payee description will help you:
- Identify payees; and/or
- Your reason for making the transfer
For example, if you're planning a wedding, you may use “Wedding DJ” as the payee description.
The description text is only visible to you.
Advice for paying bills
If you pay more than one Bank of Ireland credit card using 365 online, descriptions can help distinguish between your payees. For example, “John MasterCard” and “Mary MasterCard”.
