How do I cancel a cheque?

We are able to cancel a cheque or a chequebook for you over the phone. As with a lost card it is important you act quickly if you have lost your chequebook. You should cancel a cheque(s) over the phone or in person if a BOI branch is nearby. You will find below the contact details and the information we may require to cancel your cheque(s). If you simply no longer use the chequebook, see how the stamp duty can be refunded.
