Open Banking – KeyCode Help
Bank of Ireland KeyCode is a secure mobile authentication app used to generate a one-time security password to allow you to access Open Banking services via Bank of Ireland’s Account Access site. Open Banking is a service designed to offer you greater control, choice and freedom when you use your personal and business current accounts.
The Account Access site enables you to verify yourself, and give permission to Bank of Ireland to pass certain account information to third parties or accept payment requests from third parties. Each time you log-in to the Account Access site you will need both your 365 online Users ID and a one-time security password generated from the KeyCode app.
What do you need to get started?
- Only Bank of Ireland UK current account customers registered with 365 online can use these services. Personal and Business customers can register for 365 online.
- You must have already registered your mobile phone to receive security codes from 365 online.
- You must have a smart-device to download the KeyCode app. It works with all major smart devices including iOS, Android and Windows smartphones, tablets and iPod Touch. If you do not have a smart device you will be unable to download the KeyCode app and use Open Banking services.
- More details and how to register are in the FAQs below and in the Introduction to Open Banking Guide, but we’ll guide you through the process when you start registration.
