What are Security Codes used for on 365 online
Strong Customer authentication (SCA) has replaced security codes on the Bank of Ireland App and 365 online.
Security codes were previously required when carrying out banking activities on the older 365 online, the Mobile Banking app (ROI only) and the Tablet Banking app. For example, adding a payee.
Strong Customer authentication (SCA) has replaced security codes on the Upgraded 365 online. To authenticate your request you must have an active security device or Physical security key.
