“Invalid amount entered” error message

This error message will appear if 365 online cannot recognise a character entered in the 'Amount' field. It does not refer to the amount of available funds in your account.

How to avoid this error message:
  • Don't use a comma to separate euro and cents, pounds and pence, or dollars and cents. Use a full stop instead. For example, use 12.50 not 12,50.
  • Don't use a comma to show thousands. For example, use '3000' not '3,000'
  • Don't use currency symbols. For example, €, £, $. The currency of your transfer is determined by the transfer type. For example, SEPA or International.
