How do I apply for a mortgage in the mortgage hub?

The process works like this:
  1. We will ask you some questions to see if you are eligible to apply for a mortgage online. If you are eligible, you will then be asked to register for the mortgage hub. Once registered you can start the application process.
  2. The application process starts with some questions about your personal and financial details which, when answered, enable us to determine which mortgage types will best suit your needs.
  3. You will then select the type of mortgage you’re happy with.
  4. Once you've confirmed your selection, we will then ask you some more questions about your finances and the property you would like to buy.
  5. You will submit your full application and upload any supporting documents to accompany it. Once submitted, one of our underwriting team will review your full application.
  6. If your mortgage is approved, we will send you a Letter of Offer and send your legal pack to your solicitor, who will need to complete and return it to us.
  7. Once your credit and legal documents have been returned and approved, we’ll release your funds to your solicitor.
