Oral History Project Announcement – Expressions of Interest sought

Bank of Ireland Alumni and Silver Thread would like to invite you to tell and write stories about work – and life – while you were working with the bank.
Stories and memories that we hear from colleagues and friends are a part of the living and social history of Ireland, and we would like to gather and celebrate them.
Silver Thread work with many communities and individuals to help them tell their stories; they will facilitate a series of storytelling and writing workshops throughout the provinces. In small groups, memories spark and stories flourish. All you need to do is come along to those workshops, hear some stories, tell some stories, and get some help putting them to paper. Together, we can create a publication that will make people laugh, reminisce, and one that will illustrate how our lives and work in branches and offices reflect life in our towns and cities in living memory.

The workshops will be held in Dublin, Limerick and Sligo during April. If you would like to take part please email alumnioffice@boi.com

Bank of Ireland Alumni Network – Mentoring Opportunities

The Hatch Lab is a co-working and start-up incubation space in Gorey, Co. Wexford, and is a unique partnership between Bank of Ireland and Wexford County Council.

Our Hatch Lab community includes sole traders, flexible workers, and a number of brave entrepreneurs who are navigating their way to success.

Succeeding in business is difficult, and over 90% of Start-ups fail. Our entrepreneurs need all the help they can get!

We are therefore seeking advisors with skills in business, sales, marketing, project management, investment, HR, R&D, Product Design, and more, to join our new mentor panel.

If you can offer a few hours of your time each month to help our founders to succeed, please get in touch. Your help could make all the difference.
