Bank of Ireland 'Supporting Ireland’s Best'

Even champions need heroes

Bank of Ireland is getting behind their rugby ambassador stars with a new advertising campaign titled “Supporting Ireland’s Best”. The campaign will run over the autumn when they will be in action on the rugby world stage.

The campaign kicked off  with a fun video of the Bank’s brand ambassadors playing “RugbyGolf” and includes Irish players Paul O’Connell, Peter O’Mahony, Rob Kearney and Sean O’Brien with two of Ireland’s sporting greats Katie Taylor and Shane Lowry www.bankofireland.com/supportingirelandsbest

The advertising campaign will include a number of good luck adverts from Shane, Katie and Corporate customers wishing the ambassadors the very best with the tag line “Even Champions need Heroes”.

Commenting on the campaign, Andrew Hearnden, Head of Marketing in Corporate and Treasury at Bank of Ireland said “We’re delighted to support Ireland’s rugby players especially as they prepare to take on the world’s rugby elite.  As Ireland’s No. 1 Corporate Bank we are committed to supporting Ireland’s sporting champions and heroes. Just like us, both Shane and Katie will be willing our rugby stars along.
