Fraudulent Email Alert from Bank of Ireland

    Bank of Ireland wishes to alert its customers to ignore any emails they may have received from a source purporting to be Bank of Ireland or Banking 365online.com.

    We have discovered that a small number of our customers have received emails today directing them to a website posing as our own personal banking online service,www.365online.com. The email directs the recipient to a website where they are asked to input credit cards numbers, PIN and other personal information.

    Bank of Ireland never requests customer information in this manner and strongly warns customers to ignore them. Under no circumstance enter any details.

    Bank of Ireland would like to confirm that none of its systems have been compromised and that there has been no security breach of the Bank of Ireland 365 website.

    Should any customer have innocently responded to an email they should contact us immediately at 1890 251 251 or outside of ROI +353 56 77 57 007.
