The following type of Specialist Deposit Accounts are available from Bank of Ireland, to Trusts and Exempt Approved Retirement Benefit Schemes (e.g. SIPP, SSAS)

 

Stand-Alone Trust Account

  • For professional firms on behalf of Trusts
  • Minimum of 2 trustees usually required
  • Interest paid monthly
  • Interest paid Net†
  • AER** set 0.3% below Bank of England Base Rate
  • Minimum balance £1

Term Deposit

  • Competitive Rates quoted daily Rate & term fixed at time of opening
  • Interest paid on maturity, or paid away to a nominated account monthly
  • Interest paid Gross* or Net† (depending on circumstances)
  • Minimum balance £50,000
  • No withdrawals or deposits during the fixed term chosen

Managed Rate Notice Account

  • For individuals, corporate bodies and professional firms
  • Tiered Interest Rates
  • Interest rates are set weekly, each Thursday, in line with current Money Market rates
  • A guarantee that Gross* rate will not fall below Bank of England Base Rate plus 0.10% for balances of £500,000+
  • 7 days notice is required
  • Minimum initial deposit £500,000
