Welcome to Bank of Ireland's Customer Care Unit.
Our aim is to provide the highest level of service to our customers. However, if at any stage we do not meet your expectations we would like to hear from you. Our promise to you is to resolve the issue quickly and to your satisfaction.
The Customer Care Unit will try to answer your query straight away. However, where the issue is complex, it may be necessary to contact your Branch/Business Unit, which will add to the time taken. You will be advised where this is the case.

If you're not happy with any aspect of our service or our products, you can let us know by contacting your Bank of Ireland branch. In person call in and talk to our Customer Service Manager / any member of staff. Over the phone speak with our Customer Service Manager / any member of staff In writing please address your letter to our Customer Service Manager.

We aim to resolve complaints as quickly as possible. In some cases where more detailed investigation is required, it may take a little longer to resolve the complaint. In this instance, we will write to you within 5 days to acknowledge receipt of your complaint.
In the unlikely event that we have not resolved your complaint within 4 weeks, we will write to you again with an update. If after a further 4 weeks we are still unable to resolve your complaint, we will write to you to explain the delay and to give you an indication of when we expect to reach a conclusion.

If you don't feel satisfied with how we dealt with your complaint in your local branch or within our Customer Care Unit, you can also take your complaint to the Financial Services Ombudsman. This is a free, independent office that investigates unresolved complaints against financial institutions.
