Appointed Chief Executive, Retail Financial Services Ireland in November 2005. Appointed to the Court in October 2006. Back to TopChristine joined Bank of Ireland in October 2007 from Barclays Bank Group where she held the position of HR Director, Global and Retail Banking, having formerly held the role of HR Director, International and Commercial Banking.
Christine is responsible for all aspects of Human Resources. She brings a strong international Human Resources background to Bank of Ireland, gained from wide ranging senior HR roles she has held with Computer Science Corporation, British Telecommunications and AT&T in the United States, London and also the Middle East.
Christine is American and graduated from the University of Maryland

Appointed Chief Executive, Retail Banking and Distribution and joined the Group Executive Committee in 2000. In 2004 he was appointed Chief Executive, Retail Financial Services and Chief Executive, UK Financial Services in 2006. He is a Director of Post Office Financial Services and First Rate Exchange Services, our joint ventures with the UK Post Office, and a member of the British Bankers Association Retail Committee.

Appointed Chief Executive of the Bank's new Capital Markets Division in September 2006, having held the position of Chief Executive, Wholesale Financial Services Division since April 2003. From 1999 to 2003 he was CEO of Global Markets, with responsibility for Bank of Ireland's treasury, offshore and international banking operations. Prior to moving to Global Markets, he was Chief Operating Officer - International in Bank of Ireland Asset Management. Denis was appointed to the Court in October 2006.
Back to TopLiam, aged 45, joined Bank of Ireland in 2004.
Since joining the Bank, Liam has held a number of senior management positions, including Chief Operating Officer, Corporate Banking and Divisional Finance Officer, Capital Markets Division. In July 2007 he was appointed Director of Group Finance where his responsibilities included leading the design and implementation of the 1Finance transformation programme. Before joining Bank of Ireland Liam held a number of senior finance roles at Ulster Bank Group and, prior to that, he was financial controller for the National Treasury Management Agency.
Liam is a graduate of University College Dublin, holding a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) degree. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland.
Back to TopVincent, aged 48, joined Bank of Ireland in 1979.
He has held a number of senior management positions at Bank of Ireland, including Head of Group Credit. Prior to that, he managed a number of Corporate loan portfolios. Vincent started his banking career within the Bank's Retail division in the West of Ireland, where he worked in a number of locations.
Vincent was appointed Chief Credit and Market Risk Officer and a member of the GEC in May 2009. He is responsible for the development and execution of Credit & Market risk strategy.
He graduated from UCG with a Bachelor of Commerce degree under the Bank's scholarship scheme. Vincent is also a Fellow of The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and a Fellow of The Institute of Bankers.

He joined Bank of Ireland Group in 1987 from Citibank, where he had experience in corporate banking, finance and venture capital. Since joining the Group, he has held senior positions in Corporate Banking; as Managing Director of Bank of Ireland International Finance and, more recently, as Group Chief Risk Officer. He is an Economics graduate of University College Dublin.
Back to TopJohn joined the Group in 2001 as Group Chief Financial Officer. He had previously worked with Aer Lingus as Group Finance Director/Company Secretary and prior to that as Finance Director of Express Foods Group (Ireland), the Irish food division of Grand Metropolitan plc.
John was appointed to the Court in 2002.
